Schwack Cinema booking, start to finish

A Schwack booking has two halves: choosing your seats, and paying for them before they're released. The first happens on Schwack's own booking system, and the second can happen in Payer.

In short

  1. 1Seats are chosen on cinema.mv or the Schwack app.
  2. 2Your confirmation carries the reference and a Pay Before time.
  3. 3Payer settles the booking from your wallet before that deadline.

What your confirmation message contains

After you book, Schwack sends a confirmation listing the film, the hall, the show date and time, your seat numbers, the ticket price and the time you need to pay by. Keep it: everything Payer needs to identify the booking is in that one message.

In Payer you can paste it whole into Fill from confirmation SMS, and the cinema, booking reference and price are pulled out for you rather than typed.

Why the Pay Before time matters

An unpaid booking is a hold, not a ticket. Schwack can put those seats back on sale once the deadline passes, which is the usual reason a booking disappears between making it and turning up.

Paying from a wallet balance removes the two things that normally cause a missed deadline: finding cash, and getting to the counter in time.

Frequently asked

Can I make a Schwack Cinema booking inside Payer?

No. Bookings are made on cinema.mv or in the Schwack app, where you pick the showtime and seats. Payer is for paying a booking you already hold.

What happens if I don't pay my booking in time?

Schwack can release the seats once the Pay Before time on your confirmation has passed. If that happens you would need to book again.
