Trust
Payer is a licensed payment service provider. Here is what that means for you in practice.
Payer holds a Payment Service Provider licence from the Central Bank of Maldives, granted in 2022 under the National Payment System Act.
The balance in your Wallet sits in a segregated bank account held on your behalf. It is never mixed with Payer's own money, and it comes back to you if anything happens to us.
Set a passcode or use Face ID and fingerprint to open the app. Lost your phone? Tell us and we'll freeze your account straight away.
Support is in the app and answered by our own team here in the Maldives. No phone trees, no offshore scripts.

Yes. Payer is licensed by the Central Bank of Maldives as a Payment Service Provider under the National Payment System Act, granted in 2022.
That licence sets the standards we operate to: how we safeguard your money, verify customers, and handle your data.
We safeguard the money we receive from our customers.
Safeguarding means we keep your money in a separate bank account, held by us on your behalf. It is never mixed with the company's own funds.
This protects you because, if Payer were to become insolvent, the money in those accounts would be returned to customers.
Payer is an all-in-one app that lets you pay bills, recharge, and make in-store and online payments.
Once you install Payer and register an account, we create a Wallet for you. You can transfer money into your Wallet by bank transfer, then use it to pay for products and services on Payer.
No. We do not have any hidden fees or charges for our customers.
Money is added to your Wallet immediately after you transfer and claim the amount. This happens automatically.
Some deposits are processed manually. During a manual deposit session, you send us the receipt through the app and the amount is added within about 3 minutes of verification.
You can pay Dhiraagu, Ooredoo and Medianet bills, both mobile and internet, and buy add-ons and upgrade packages.
You can also buy Reload and Raastas, and cash in to Dhiraagu Pay wallets.
