How to Deposit
Your Payer Wallet is where your money lives. To top it up, transfer money from your bank (Bank of Maldives or Favara) to Payer's account, then upload the transfer receipt in the app. Payer reads your receipt and adds the money to your Wallet, usually instantly.
Tap Deposit on your Wallet
On the Payer home screen, find your Wallet card and tap Deposit. You'll see your current balance and verified limit here.
Your account needs to be verified (KYC approved) before you can deposit.
Good to know
- Deposits are made by bank transfer from Bank of Maldives or Favara, and there are no hidden fees.
- Most deposits are verified and added instantly; some go to a short manual review of up to about 15 minutes.
- Turn on notifications so we can let you know the moment a reviewed deposit is added.
- Each receipt can only be used once. A receipt that's already been used won't be added again.

How long does a deposit take?
Most deposits are verified automatically and added to your Wallet instantly. If a receipt needs a manual review, it's usually added within a few minutes, up to about 15 minutes.
Why was my receipt not accepted?
Make sure you upload a clear image of a Bank of Maldives or Favara transfer to Payer Private Limited (7730 000204 201) made within the last 24 hours, and that the receipt hasn't been used before. If it still fails, contact us with the receipt attached and we'll review it manually.
Do I need to enter the amount?
No. Payer reads the amount and reference directly from your uploaded receipt, so there's nothing to type in.
